Salvation

The bible does not just tell us about what is wrong in our lives. It tells us that before he even made the universe God had a plan to save us from the penalty of sin and from living life without Jesus.

 

He sent His Son, Jesus Christ to suffer and die for our sin, taking the punishment that should have been ours.  Until now God has postponed that punishment so that everyone who is willing can come to him for salvation.

 

Today Jesus offers his salvation freely to you and me.  Our sin has offended God and we cannot change that or make up for that in any way.  But if you

• say sorry to Jesus for the sins you have committed and determine in your heart to turn away from everything in your life that displeases him and

• put your trust for your future in the truth that Jesus has died on the cross and rose again from the dead to pay the penalty for your sin

 

The bible says that you will be saved.
